I mainly use SAC to analyze my interactions but I was recently learning about the 3 Keys. Both models seem highly effective at getting the job done, but what's interesting is that it doesn't seem like there's a clear one to one correspondence between SAC and the 3 Keys.
I'm thinking Arousal in SAC corresponds to Emotional Stimulation and Sexual Arousal and maybe Attitude Similarity is similar to Social Frame but not really. And Compliance doesn't show up in the 3 Keys but I think(?) you automatically generate compliance if you have the 3 keys in place so it seems like a situation of 35+35+30 = 40+40+20 = bang.
Are there different instances where one model is better suited than the other(eg hindsight analysis vs real-time analysis or different types of pickup situations)? Or should you just learn one really well before moving on to the other? Or should you merge them somehow?
