Abundance (Rural Town, Nearby City)

My career is pretty settled currently is a rural area about 45 miles (~60min drive) from the nearest big city (population ~840,000). There's also two other cities I could visit; basically I'm an hour away from all of them in the center of a triangle (those are ~200,000 population each).

Q1 Any advice on getting abundance and quality girls in the bigger cities?
Q2 How can I structure my week not to interfere with work, but also manage getting to these places?
I'm not really into clubbing or seeking 'party girls', but actually quiet/more reserved/self-motivated women. I would be going approaching solo. I may be able to rent a friend's apt for $200 a month, kind of in a bad part/higher crime area of the city (so I could have place to stay but not a good place to bring a quality girl back).

I'm still approaching about 10-15 girls a week in my current town, but genuinely attractive females all seem to have boyfriends and get the occasional date or two every couple weeks. WEEKS. If that tells you how many are unavailable. My current place is a condo right on the lake, so the dock is nice, when there is someone to actually pull or structure a date with. My town's population is 40,000 people.
-Not saying this in an arrogant way, but my friends in the city call me 'a big fish in a small pond'.
-My usual approach spots (even though most have boyfriends), gym, chipotle/pizza joints/places you go for a quick bite, grocery stores/Target , coffee shops, local Barnes & Nobel.

Is the lake public access or surrounded by private? If there are summer tourists, then there are people new in town every weekend. Beach area?
Can you do a swap for the weekend with your buddy in town every couple of weeks?
Might save you some cash.

Meet new women in the city, have a couple dates, then invite them for a weekend at your place on the lake. Sounds like the perfect recipe for an FB. Far enough away to not get attached, close enough to have access to 'em when you need a weekend smash session.

I'd use a lot of online dating to line up prospects. Built in time constraint, and mysterious stranger combined.

Excellent, I can do that. Unfortunately is isn't really public access; it's surrounded by private. Kind of down a back road. But there is a public access area a mile or so away (I definitely should go scope that out).
I can still make it an excellent getaway though, and probably negotiate something with my friend. I'll see what he's amenable to doing.

Online dating it is then - recently made a profile, and actually have some quotes for a photoshoot this weekend or next. Doing the shoot for my profile photos. Fingers crossed it ends up well.
