I didn't dismiss Minoxidil as not being effective, I said there are better solutions because Minoxidil doesn't fix the root cause which is inflammation in the scalp which is why people start losing their hair again once they stop using it. It only stops scalp tension due to Minoxidil increasing blood flow to the scalp, which will halt hair loss and promote new growth. You can increase blood flow and reduce tightness in the scalp for free by doing inverted deep scalp massages for 10-15 minutes daily. Rosemary oil is also better than Minoxidil.
Never heard of Rosemary Oil, but will look it into that.
Scalp massages/microneedling are an alternative treatment at best (besides doing in-depth research, I asked my doctor about all that stuff).
The best non-oral prevention treatment is puncturing the scalp WITH finasteride.
(which is what I'm actually doing).
Cause you are using the product directly where it's more effective.
To prevent genectic hair loss, in that order:
- oral DHT blocker (finasteride, dutasteride);
- finasteride needling;
- oral monoxidil;
- side treatments/ topic monoxidil;
- transplant when you have an advanced grade;
Also, I'm curious if you actually did any treatment, or is just relaying information from the internet.
Individuals that are genetically sensitive to hair loss will not experience hair loss if inflammation isn't present. Hair loss isn't natural.
This seems factually wrong.
Actually,
telogen effluvin is a type of alopecia that's stress related.
Stress cause inflamation, which causes the hair to fall.
Once inflation is removed, the hair grows again
(oral minoxidil can prevent hair loss even during inflamation phases..I know because I've been through it).
But genetic alopecia and aging will make your hair fall, even with all the treatments and lifestyle improvement.
What you can change is the speed, making it so slow will won't even notice.
