Your focus seems to be on WHAT YOU ARE LACKING and WHAT IS PROBLEMATIC AND WRONG. You know what? Nobody wants to validate you if you are in such a state, or at best people with even more negative realities (crazy party girls with drug problems, dishonest sleazeball guys working in nightlife etc). Spreading positivity and good emotions is actually rather key to building social circles, especially those with quality people.
I think you will achieve your goal if you start focusing on WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE. And be a bit more grateful for that.
This is actually simpler than meditation, it is a pure cognitive shift. What is good here and now? Instead of what is wrong in the past, now and in the future. Ironically, you will most likely exactly get that kind of validation the moment you stop chasing it.
