Compliance but she broke circle?

Dudes! I was out last night and at the end of the night I seen this attractive girl sitting on her own, she walked past me earlier in the night and noticed an IOI but before I could open a female friend came running across the room and was hugging me. When a seen her at the end I thought nothing ventured nothing gained, assume attraction an lets go for this!

I pre opened with eye contact and a warm smile, her eyes widened and she gave me a warm smile back. Good buying temperature! I opened her and she seemed slightly taken aback (she clearly seen me walking upto her so this wasn't a surprise). Her voice seemed very nervous but she seemed happy to talk to me, she complied giving me her hand, she didn't pull it/move it away and even started touching my abs, chest and arms. We got to a high point in conversation, I still had hold of one of her hands and she was touching me with the other and my other hand was on her leg so I proposed a date and got this:

Me: "Hey you seem cool, we should go for a drink sometime"
Her: "Okay! when?"
Me: "When are you free?"
Her: "Erm are you drunk?"
Me: "Nope"
Her: "Okay. Ermm I dunno"
Me: "You don't know when you're free?" (playful tone)
Her: "No, ermm I'm busy I work a lot"
Me: "Okay, well how about Monday night?"
*a guy walks past and she breaks circle because she knows him.
I met the guy earlier in the night, he came to tell me how cool he thought I was...

I didn't see the look that she shot him (she was sitting down, I was standing) but I'm guessing it was a "help me look". The guy looked back puzzeled and confused and she started telling me how she knew him. The conversation wasn't productive and I couldn't get her back on track so I started talking to him. Another guy walked by that she knew and she decided to tell us all how she knew him from school. How she knew the other guy was called Dan and that I was trying to pull. (Well if I'm trying I'm not succeeding, I didn't react to the statement to her just shrugged and the guy I was talking to was like fair play)

At this point my mate came and joined me and we decided to bounce, I told the guy I was talking to that I'm of and a will catch him later and started to head of.

Her: "oh, bye" (with a kind of confused and disappointed tone)

I put it down to her not being attracted/interested enough to break circle like that and to not be clear when she was free, but she was compliant and touching me and seemed disappointed I was leaving. Don't quite understand this behaviour?

Any thoughts dudes?

Why are you going for a date? What did hold you back from pulling her that night?

@DML dude! Before I seen her on her own she was with her friend, just as I noticed them they darted across the road and was talking to the taxi driver. I thought ah well guess I've missed this one. I noticed they walked away. (The taxi would have been booked by someone) and was looking for another one so a just talked to my mates. A few minutes passed which is when I noticed her on her own.

In the short conversation we had I done some screening to check logistics and found out where her friend was. They had just booked a taxi and were waiting for it, her friend was in the girls room. Figured a didn't have to long and could face ASD or a block from her friend. (end of the night, not able to find her a guy quickly sort of thing) so thought set up a date, take the number. Could have also been a set to an insta date - "I'm free now" - when her friend came back maybe suggest we all go for food at a takeaway.

I know its an uphill battle getting numbers on night game though dude!
