Would appreciate some input on a recurring frustration. I wouldn't consider myself natural at pickup or good looking by any stretch of the imagination, but if I put in a decent amount time and effort I can sleep with plenty of women (even in Toronto, which is a tough market I've discovered). My ongoing frustration is keeping girls around around for an extended period. I sleep with them once or twice and they disappear. The frustrating part is I don't know what's causing it. It's particularly frustrating when I meet a girl I actually like and would want to see and hang out with on a regular basis. I make sure I give these girls mind blowing sex, and they might even come back a few times, but they invariably pull away.
I'm 33 and working on grad studies in Toronto. I usually date highly educated girls who are in their 20s that I meet in coffeeshops, social events, libraries, or on dating apps. It is almost always first date sex.
My first question is: What do you do when you are failing at something repeatedly but you can't identify the cause of that failure? Secondly, have any of you had this issue before and what caused it for you?
