I just asked a question a moment ago about humor, which is the most significant road block I've been running into... another I want to work on is this...

Question: How do you sufficiently deflect personal questions and redirect the conversation to be on the other person? What are some ways you quickly transition?
I try to be as mysterious as possible, but I often reveal too much about myself. Killing the mystery, because I'm unable to deflect and redirect properly. So used to making friends by typically finding mutual things in common, but I'm not looking to make 'friends' with these women ... unless it's FWB ;)

Thanks guys!

There is a level of vulnerability you need to have to appeal to a woman's emotional need for intimacy. More of a good faith gesture than anything.

You can redirect by sharing a little bit and then asking her for her experience. But you have to be sure to ask something you are pretty sure she is going to have a lot to say on

Example:
"Yeah I grew up in a family where my parents worked a lot. I really became close with my dog growing up. You have any pets?"

Your childhood pet is not a huge reveal. But it shows you can relate to some common things with her.

I see what you're getting at. I'll start implementing this a bit more until it comes naturally.

Thanks for the tips!
