Hey guys,
I'm starting to get back into day game more seriously. My niche is cute Asians girls - mostly Chinese girls. There are a lot of them in Melbourne. Their personalities are usually quite shy, reserved, and somewhat skittish. Recently, I've been having a terrible streak of being blown out, and I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. In fact, my last 2 years of doing day game has been somewhat unsuccessful.
In the past, when I tried to stop a girl, I'd stop her from the side, trying to stop her immediately. In most cases, this would seem too abrupt, and scare the girls a bit. They'd continue to walk ahead slightly, wanting to disengage from the conversation, but I'd have my feet planted on the ground. It set a really awkward precedent, so I ditched it all together.
These days what I've been doing is opening her from the side, usually complimenting her style. I'd then walk along with her, and stop her after introducing myself. I've found that this worked reasonably well in the past, but I've been getting quite inconsistent results recently.
I'd appreciate some input:
What's a better way to stop a girl in day game? And when you stop her, should you try to stop her immediately? Or walk along with her a bit, before stopping her?
