Hey there, I'm about 5'4 and I'm pretty sure that when I get around to chatting up girls that at some point they will make a comment about me being short. I understand that it's a sort of challenge to see how I would respond. My question is how should I respond, I think that just letting her say something along those lines and like chuckling and saying yeah and then trying to move the conversation on is not the best way to go, it would be just accepting it wouldn't it, and firing back with something about her would seem defensive and weak, maybe lol. Also while I've been typing this I was wondering what the appropriate response would be to her saying I'm not her type/she doesn't or hasn't dated guys of my type. I'm a short Bengali guy fyi (South Asia).

Yeah, definitely don't build yourself up by breaking a girl down - that's a weak man response. Her saying you're short is definitely a simple shit test - will he freak out about this? is he ok with his height?
Just reframe it to something useful by acknowledging it and/or using slight humor. For example,
Her: "Wow, you're pretty short - I don't usually go for short guys.."
You: "Obviously you've been missing out
"
Then move the conversation on a new topic.

You are future projecting, nothing even has happened yet. Work hard on your fundamentals, physique, diet and clothing. You will get much more interest then and "magically" stop worrying about your shortness.
Girls are not these scary intimidating creatures. You will understand this more when you keep opening new girls and figure that girls with negative attitudes are the issue themselves. Just last week I got an unnecessary HARSH rejection, but because of enough reference points I laughed it off and opened a blonde in the vicinity who was super receptive. I am certain the first girl noticed.
You can not prevent everything, but you have to learn how to stay unfazed. But this goes with experience and some serious frame control.
