I met this girl at a park who was traveling to my country for a holiday and she was going to leave my city the next day. I took her for an instant date and then I had to go somewhere for a short break of 1 hr and so I told her I'm gonna see her in 1 hr and we can watch a movie at my place with some wine if she likes. She said she doesn't go to someone's place who she doesn't know well. So I said everyone gets to know everyone at some stage and I left the ball in her court saying if you like, you can come else it's fine. She said she'll think and she'll let me know. Of course I knew she's not going to get back to me and she didn't answer my messages or pick my call later when I tried to reach her. Could I have done better?

If a girl is leaving the next day it's not the end of the world - in fact sometimes it's a really good thing, and just could mean she's extra down for some traveling dick if she hasn't had any yet. It just means you have to accelerate the seduction - more compliance, more venues, more comfort, and all faster.
In your case it sounds like you jumped from instant date to home invite too quickly. Instead I would have invited her out somewhere near your house for drinks (or similar) and then after 1-2 venues, invite her home for some fun.

You could have framed it different. You were a bit too polite. Don't ask, instead, assume the sale.

You: Great, come by my place and say goodbye. Just you can't stay long because I'm working early. My address is 345 bullshit road. What time can you be here?"
