Long Time Lurker Finally Joining

Hey everyone I'm Protean. As a long time lurker on these forums I figured big forum upgrade was as good a time as any to enter the fray. I'm a younger guy at 21 years old and have been into pickup since age 16 when I stumbled upon Chase's "How to Flirt with a Girl" article. The way Chase breaks down complex concepts into their constituent parts really appeals to me. His articles aren't 200 word fluff pieces or vague quackery, but advice that not only told you the information at hand, but built up my social intuition in the process.

I improved a lot, but not as much as I should have. Part of the problem was having horrible logistics in high school to do anything with the girls I spoke to. "I'll fucking slay once I get to college" I told myself. While I did have some success my first two years on campus, I fell into a long depressive state and flunked all my classes my fourth semester and was forced to go to school from home.

At this point my notch count sits at 3 with a handful of other women I've messed around with. Okay, but I had I applied myself I would be much better skill wise. How do I know this? Daniel Adebayo. I feel like had I applied myself from the jump I would be at around his skill level with women. He not only shares a similar personality type and style of game as me, but we're around the same age and even the same ethnicity! I don't say those this out of jealousy or scorn, but as a wake-up call to myself to start working hard develop a strong seduction skills. This is why I'm joining the forum.

As I grow I'm going to provide a lot of value back to this community. It's already helped me so much. Time to push things to the next level.

I suggest that you start with field reports. Get 10-20 approaches a week and catalog them in your diary.

If you've been reading for as long as you have, and given your experience with college, mass action is your best friend. Did the end of college depression come about during a period of isolation and not-approaching? Or just lots of failures?

Either way, get to action. You should start a journal in the field report thread (should be above the list of field reports).

And Bacchus has a lot of technical material, so it will help you best when you're doing mass action.

This is precisely what I'm going to do. My glacial progress over the past few years can 100% be attributed to not cold approaching enough. My lays have come from chatting up girls in my classes. While I've always liked social circle game I've been limiting the women I can bring into my life. My previous attempts at cold approach have been hampered by approach anxiety but I know that if I apply myself I can push past it.

A bit of both actually. Long story short I pulled this cute asian chick from my dorm's hot tub. Had her bikini top off and everything but I couldn't get the job done. I really beat myself up for not closing and it was constantly ruminating over that "failure" that caused me to isolate myself and slip into a deep depression. I'm basically Odysseus. When I win, I reach the highest of highs and think I'm untouchable. But when I lose, its not pretty. Meditation has really helped with this but wild swings in my confidence and self esteem still occur at times.
