I recently graduated college, moved back home, and am working as an accountant. My town is very small, about 2000 people, however i live about 25 min from a larger city of about 100,000 where I go out to do game. Now that I am not in college i do not have a good social group and all of the people i work with are much older and have families. As a result I am not having any success as far as getting girls.

I have thought a lot about moving to denver, pitsburgh, or just a larger city in general. I am wondering what the benefits are of this and if it will be worth it. I am afraid that if i can not make new friends where i am at now, i wont be able to in another place and will end up getting lonely and homesick.

My main question is if moving to a larger city or new area is that much different, and if it is worth it?

No one can answer this question for you. As for me, moving to a large city was worth it.

I suck at making new friends too but I am an introvert so I don't get lonely or homesick. I have made friends over the years though. It will happen if you go out alone enough. Living in a large city my late 30s and early 40s I've been with many more women than I was in my teens/20s/and early 30s. I regret not moving to the city in my early 20s.
