What up my people
Ok so this happened last night. I can’t give every single detail, cuz it took place over hours, and I’m exhausted, been hitting the bars and socializing for a few nights in a row now, and finally have a night off. None of them were that special, nothing happened, just grinding social skills, until last night.
Ok so my social circle is all at this popular gay bar downtown. They are all about six years older than me. I am hungover and moody, but decide to go out anyway. So yeah, I didn't wanna go out. I’m so fucking glad I did.
I’m very low energy, which isn’t my usual style. I roll up to the bar, and it’s very noisy. I kinda sit off by myself for a while and zone out. I notice two of the girls looking at me and giggling. I smirk.
The bf of one of them glares at me. (note:the bf is not part of our normal social circle, he doesn’t know anyone here).
But he is a hard dude, covered in tats and him and his friend come over, start talking about how his friend just got out a prison
So…what? They’re not gonna do shit. I ignore them.
Seriously I was in a mood. Also, it was cold as shit. It was a cold night out, but I had stupidly thought being in the bar would be warmer. It was not. I am shivering and zoned out.
We move outside so people can smoke. We sit in a circle and more people from our social circle show up. Hot-redhead-lesbian-bartender shows up, with a girlfriend in tow. I greet her “MOM” and she’s like “BABYBOY”
She’s my mentor as of late. She’s also the most dominant person in this social circle. She explains to her partner, who I hadn’t met, about how she once had to bundle me in a taxi while I was blackout drunk. I tease her in response, I forget what I said. Then I ask if I can call her partner “dad”
They laugh. Then they all head inside to do shots. Except we get to the bar, and I stand around awkwardly as they whisper to themselves. Her partner, a cute petite woman, is also standing around awkwardly, as she is on the outside of this social circle.
So I lead her back outside and deep dive her. Then some other guys from our group join us. I don’t know them well, it’s an extensive overlay of overlapping social circle stuff, v confusing. Everyone knows everyone. So I deep dive, talking minimally, and direct the conversation between these three people. It’s going great, and they start looking to me for approval.
These guys are like six or seven years older than me and in the nightlife business, i.e. very socially aware. I get a big head. I think I am the shit.
So then I text the girl who’s bf was being shady before, and tell her to bring me a mixed drink. I am still hungover/sober.
She brings it, eventually, and then tells me to come inside, that we’re gonna play darts. I get inside and I see two girls who came together. One is rather rotund, and has been chasing me hard (like texting me to come over and drink on her balcony) to which I have tried to very politely decline. Oh and she is also the manager of a bar across the street. Let’s call her Brianna.
The other one is stunning. She works in the cafe next door to where I work, and my boss keeps trying and failing to lay her (and he’s no slouch). I don’t know her that well, but I’d like to
I’ve also heard she has a bf, from my boss (I think he was trying to justify not laying her, but I also looked her up on fb once and she seems to)
So let’s call her Alice.
So we start playing darts. Those two were paired as a team, I was paired with this orbiter/friendzoned guy who follows the hot lesbian I call “MOM” around. And MOM was paired with her partner, who I’d deep dived before. Brianna brings me a beer.
During the game, me and MOM flirt a little bit (god that sounds weird) because although she’s lesbian, she just enjoys flirting. We play for a while, and I am a little drunker and less moody, although still low energy.
I notice that Alice is playing pokemon GO. I tell her, hey there’s no pokemon here, it’s kinda a shitty spot for them, cuz hey, that’s what I was doing earlier. She laughs, and moves a little closer to me.
At one point my beer is gone. I am the only one under 21 here, and so I have the excuse to make other people get me drinks (which means getting investment). I ask Brianna for a beer. She says, say please. I laugh, roll my eyes, ignore her. Alice gets involved, tells me to say please. Heh.
Fuck she’s hot.
So I tease them for a bit. Then I look at my teammate, and tell him to get me the beer. He protests, cause I was being a bit of a dick. I told him teammates look out for each other. I then tell him I want lager. He complies.
The dart game is over soon after this. We head back outside. Alice sits next to me on one side, my teammate/nice guy dude on the other. I deep dive Alice for a while, talking about family, life, etc. For her sake, I don’t wanna publish all of what we discussed on here.
We also shared a cigarette. Her friend, Brianna, keeps interjecting though, and trying to dominate the conversation. At one point, Alice is confused by why I keep getting called “baby boy.”
I ask her how old she is. She says 22. She asks me. I smirk, and say guess. She guesses, 20. I don’t break eye contact. She then guesses 22. I say, sure….
Then she laughs and says I thought so. Shit. I’m 19 and everyone here knows it.
So then I awkwardly say I’m nineteen, actually. I try to save the moment by teasing her about being super old. It works, kinda.
So I change the subject. Soon after, Brianna says we three will go skinny-dipping. They go to settle their bar tabs. I remain seated.
Alice comes back, and sits next to me again. We share another cigarette, and I try to brush my hand against hers a lot. She asks me to go skinny-dipping with them.
Up until this point, I was planning on cabbing home. I was trying to stay away from Brianna because she wanted the D and I didn’t wanna have to turn her down and thus rock the boat in the social circle. But now Alice seems to want me there
So I say yeah.
At this point, Alice turns to talk to someone else, but I’m right next to her still. The nice guy/orbiter of MOM is still sitting right next to me, and he asks me if I’m gonna tap that, and remarks about how hot Alice is. Very loudly.
Well, shit. I smile, and try to play it off.
He asks again. I say, “sure.” not really knowing what to say. Hey, at least Alice knows my intentions now.
Brianna returns and we leave. We head to the supermarket to buy beer. Then Brianna realizes she forgot her phone at the bar and heads back. Alice and I continue on to the supermarket. She teases me about being shitty at Pokemon GO, I tease her about being a nerd (cuz she’s better than me at it).
I also try to do lots of incidental touch, i.e. brushing up against her. She doesn’t respond well to this, and sort of moves away slightly or just ignores me when I do it.
Ugh.
Maybe I misread this.
Whatever. We grab the beer and go meet Brianna. She leads us to a park pool, and we climb the wall, and break in.
Whilst we do this, we talk about all the times we’ve broken in to places (cause we are just so fucking badass, obviously). I point this egomania out and they laugh.
Once inside, Brianna strips completely naked. I did not need to see that. I pull out a beer, and both girls do some other, harder drugs. I decline, and they call me a child. I roll my eyes and look away, up at the full moon. Brianna comments on how she loves full moons. I don’t reply.
Alice strips to bra and panties but won’t go completely naked. I am severely disappointed. The two girls swim out to the middle of the water. I strip to underwear, following Alice’s lead, and I swim out to meet them. I try to get close to Alice again, and she again moves away slightly, although the flirty vibe is still there in our conversation.
We swim for a bit. I am fairly drunk and they are fairly high. I make some stupid comment about the moon, a bit uncalibrated really. We then get dressed, and everyone is cold and kinda grumpy. The three of us go back to Alice’s house.
Oh and Alice and I both are looking for pokemon on the walk home
Once we get there, we sit and I play with her cat. The motherfucker kept scratching me, so I begin to ignore him, and Alice wants to smoke weed. We smoke two bowls, and are all on her bed. I try to position myself next to her. She kinda avoids me. At the same time, Brianna tries to get closer to me.
I can’t tell if Alice’s resistance is because I’m being awkward/creepy in some way I don’t realize, or if it’s because she has a bf (she does, but is a party girl, and has already gone skinny-dipping with me), or if it’s because Brianna is there, cockblocking.
Still don’t know.
Brianna eventually falls asleep in between us. Damn. Alice follows suit.
I wake up a few hours later and can’t sleep. I don’t think anything more will happen, I kinda look like a mess, and don’t wanna sit there to wait for them to wake.
So I write
And then I head home.
Some pros and cons of the night:
Pros:
-I am more firmly a part of this social circle, which is a high level one in this medium sized city at least.
-I got a lot further than I expected on zero energy and a shitty mood, i.e. I’m becoming more consistent.
-I’ve started to master “having one foot in and one out of an interaction.” This is a complicated topic Hector told me about, but it prevents being a social burden, and adds to sexiness/investment.
-I felt pretty subtle throughout the night, and at some points just used nonverbals to get my point across
Cons:
-Didn’t get the girl.
-My touch was fairly aggressive, which has worked in the past, but was fairly uncalibrated this time.
-Was all lower-energy game, I’ve veered too far in that direction and need to find balance between being engaged/BMOC and being grounded/slowburn. Again something that Hector told me about.
-My note at the end was a little weird, and they haven’t texted me yet (as of twelve hours later).
-Still some mismanaged transition points.
Hoping for some feedback! It might have been a lost cause, but I figured I had to try, she's the hottest girl I've seen in a few months.
