Got an email from ICANN saying I need to register my site and verify that all of my information (real name, phone number, email) is correct. The issue is, anyone can look this shit up on WHOIS.net including where I freaking live.

I did all of this through wordpress, how do I protect myself?

There likely are settings in the control panel for your site. They may also have instructions on how to set it for max effectiveness. Do it right away, make it your first priority. Also, look on the internet. I bet there are hundreds of how to pages and videos. I did this years ago, but forgot what I did, or I'd just tell you.

Not sure your hosting company but usually you can buy WHOIS protection for like $5. Also you can get from your domain name company.
