SO one of my colleague's father just passed away and he wanted to print a picture of him before the service. He asked me for photo paper, and I found some for him. I saw his attempt to print and his printer was running out of ink so I volunteered to just print it myself.

One of our other coworkers (same power level in the company) was sitting there witnessed that exchange and emailed me a cell phone picture asking me to print it. Now this guy is a pushy, loudmouthed, manipulative person I don't respect at all. He has tried to AMOG me numerous times and I can usually shut him down or ignore him. This time he called me and asked me again. I told him "hmmmmm.....didn't come through." He sent it twice, Heh Heh heh....

If he brings it up again, I'm tempted to say "Listen I don't mind helping out a grieving son remember his father, but I'm not your fucking secretary."

Anybody got a smoother way? I don't want to get in a Tit for tat passive aggressive exchange.

Too much effort. with that response.

IT's better to go all out. Body language, LEss verbal response, and block his number or reject his calls.

:) Make things difficult, because i am assuming that this guy is an asshole. Help me clear this bit.

I don't even like this response because that's essentially is saying "I'm willing to do it but somewhere technology went glitchy." At the very least, you stalling still let's him know that his foot is in the door.

Better to just explain that it's not something you're in the habit of doing and you did it for the one guy because of his circumstance. The alternative is to ask him to do something that requires more investment than you printing the picture so either a) he actually agrees to something obscene or b) he pushes a little bit and you hold firm that you're not going out of your way.
