The issue I have with this, is you're training her to respond. What I mean is, if she takes six hours to reply, and you take ten hours, then she'll take twelve hours next time. Now if you have normal reply times, no games, not trying to game her and she's into you, then she'll expect this and likely reply in the same time frame.
