Evening gents

I just wanted to put this video up here as I think it shows some really interesting insight into a woman's mind and behaviour and just how far they can be driven by their hypergamy. In this video you can see that the ex-boyfriend is clearly in the 'lover' category and the husband has been firmly placed in the 'provider' category. Also it is interesting to note the basic difference in fundamentals between the 'lover' and 'provider' so clearly on show here.

Anyway there is much more to be said about this video but I am crazy busy right now and just wanted to quickly throw this up here before I went to bed to hopefully give some insight and maybe start a bit of a discussion.

Skip to 25 mins in for the good part.

What do you guys think?

Assuming this is not staged, it's quite interesting, Doctor.

My intuition tells me she didn't do this for the money. She wanted, it seems to me, to put a stop to the charade that was her life until this point, and live instead at one with her true feelings.

It is my opinion that the person who gets his comeuppance in this is the husband. After pressuring a woman who doesn't love him into marriage, and acting insecure, jealous and possessive, he gets more or less what he deserves. He said it himself near the start: "She's in my prison now". What a loser.

The lady is certainly unwise to air her affairs in public in this manner, but I can empathize with her weariness with pretense and need for resolution.

What I do find odd is this, Doctor:

Maybe it's just my cultural background (I grew up in Europe), but where I'm from a hair salon manager marrying a police officer would not be considered hypergamy. Those callings are viewed as more or less equal socially; in fact, unless the policeman is above a certain rank in the force, the lady by virtue of her management role (albeit in a modest occupation) would probably be considered more accomplished. A regular beat cop would certainly not be seen as superior.

Ah yes I probably used the wrong word there as I was in a bit of a rush. What I was alluding to was the way she has the husband out there earning money and probably providing for any future children while she is clearly sleeping with the ex-boyfriend for his superior genes for her children. More a biological hypergamy. Like I said I probably used the wrong word but if it wasn't for all this coming out when it did I can clearly see a future where the husband ends up raising another man's child.

But yeah I can definitely agree, the husband is getting his comeuppance for a situation he allowed himself to get into. I think we can all learn something from this as I know I was very much like him before I started reading this site.
