I do alot of online sitting around looking at random brands etc…etc…. And I’ve started to pick up on a weird pattern for 2025 and seemingly will be the new normal going into 2026 which is that a lot of higher labels are doing collaborations with sports teams. But I’ve been picking up on some other interesting ones as well.
Pop Mart, Crocs & other C brands *[F1] have been pushing SpongeBob and Hello Kitty
Former decent brands like Doc Martin’s, Blundstones & Birkenstocks quality has gone super down hill
Supreme, Kith, Ovo, Abercrombie, Hollister Sports teams & Racing.
My best guess with what is happening with these brands is that they are now being paid to but these brands on clothing too sell. So I’ve started to avoid a lot of these ones and have gone over to Stussy and concert t shirts in the last bit. *[Though I still have some things like a Playboy Ovo shirt that are logo’s that I still rock]
On my most recent buys I’m waiting on two Yeezy winter jackets and did get some plain clothes.
Anyways curious to hear if anybody else has noticed this and if you are deciding to go against it or to more so rock it.
