What are your thoughts on dating high school girls in your thirties?

I've got a neighbour that is really attracted to me; she is the shy, submissive type: my favorite flavor! There's this strong sexual tension whenever we are close, but I'm 35, and she looks 15~16.

Obviously the biggest problem is that she lives with her parents in the same building of mine, a story below.

But I'm interested in hearing your practical thoughts on this topic; not a long time ago, when most people lived in rural areas, it was quite common that girls would marry and have children way before being 18. At 14, even. Now that there are so many older women without men, it became "immoral" to have such an "age gap".

Is it really bad for the girl to have sex with an older man when it is she that is showing interest?

It's not bad in itself, but she would need to deal with a lot of shit.
Her parents, friends and everyone in society is going to push her away from you and she is likely not mature enough to deal with that kind of situations. Also, since you mention she is shy that most likely means she is easily influenced by everyone around her.
Add any possible legal repercussion depending on which country you live.

I would say go for it, but don't expect a long term relationship to work. It is unlikely it will.

As for the "age gap immorality", you need to consider that the society you are referring to worked differently.
"Love" as a main director of marriage is a relative new concept (120 years or so)... people before placed higher importance in marrying for status and security. Also men were typically more scarce, specially affluent ones. Back then, getting a rich man into the family would be well worth your young daughter hand.
Nowadays society operates with "equality" and "love" paradigms, so some things we used to do feel out of place.

Well, if you're in the states, 18 is the age of consent. It doesn't matter what your biology or emotions tell you to do. It's illegal. Here in Canada it's 16, and only a short while ago was 14. But still, at my age, girls under 19, though sexy and charming, and oh so tempting, are just bad news. You're asking for drama, especially if she's your neighbor. some states it’s 16. in from one of those states. most it’s 17 or 18. regardless of the law i wouldn’t go younger than 19. don’t know why that’s my number. my bread and butter is 21-24 and at 37 they are like children to me. i haven’t been with anyone under 21 in like two years. although i’m back on tinder and can see that changing in the near future. the girl i’m kind of seeing is 23 and still very moldable even at that age. i find a lot of girls who just got out of college are not very sexually experienced nowadays.

If you ask me, yes. She's a child. You are over twice her age. There can be many reasons why she shows "interest", but she isnt fully mature yet. Her brain's all over the floor. I known some girls who slept with a guy in his late 20s or 30s when they were around 16, and it seems like they regret it. It isn't a fully conscious decision on her part yet. She isn't old or mature enough to make a decision about such matters. It would be taking advantage of her mental state for that age. My ex-girlfriend had a 27 year old boyfriend when she were 16 for half a year-1 year, and she regretted it hard and would go mental if i teased her the slightest about it.

Don't do it. It is morally wrong if you ask me.

i find it to be morally reprehensible and i have very loose morals. there’s just some lines you don’t cross and sex with children is one. i don’t see why anyone would want to, and i love young adult girls. the key is adult.
