What does good infield footage look like?

The Long version

Someone was telling me that in Coach Kyle's (NYC based PUA) videos, all the girls seem to be super into him from the very beginning.

When rookies and newbs watch infield, they see

• Guy sees a girl
• Girl sees the guy,
• Girl Must instantly like him (because there's no other way to explain her open and inviting behavior)
• Because she is open to chatting with some random stranger - She's either a slut or he's a Chad. Those are the only options, it cannot be what the guy is doing or saying - because it doesn't look like he's doing or saying anything.
• The guy doesn't use much "game", it's just a normal conversation
• She just gives him her number/contact info, or immediately agrees to a sit-down at a nearby coffee shop.

Rookie conclusion - she likes the way he looks.

When I watch any given infield, what I see

With most footage

• He takes decent enough care of himself.
• PUA takes a good path, so he doesn't sneak up on the girl.
• He squares up.
• His first words + eye contact + tone -> get her attention, make her snap out of whatever frame of mind she was into, cause her to stop, and set her up to have a chat.
• The conversations are usually boring with a touch of humor/playfulness.
• The chick tends to be open and interesting.

My conclusion - dude has good solid game that he's able to present himself in such a way as to not trigger all of her defenses, and that girls are open to guys that are "grounded" more so than dancing monkeys with a gift of gab.

• There's enough curiosity (i.e. attraction), enough of a "vibe" - (i.e. nonverbal state of ease), and they've built rapport enough to make her feel safe
• She can give her contact information, or likes the approach enough to see where it goes at a local coffee shop.

I think one of the problems of footage these days, is that the camera is not trained on the guy's facial expressions and eye contact, and can not show the girl's facial expressions and reciprocating eye contact. We get the words, the tone, and the body language - but not the most important part of the nonverbal equation, imo.

Keep in mind that my overall philosophy about cold approach/game

• Most girls want to meet a good dude (and like sex)
• Regular day to day game (especially day game) - is not flashy like people on TV or in the movies or popular Pick Up Videos.

Like a chick that puts on lingerie, more exciting verbal game, gambits, and props - is more for US, than it is for her. We put those things on to feel sexy, to feel playful, and that's a good showcase for the personality and a good look into what it would be like with us. A hint of sexuality gets magnified.

But game, especially in the day time, is usually not full of fireworks.

Being more outrageous and showy works well at night - because the night time is primed for sexier and more mentally engaging things (low lights, music, alcohol, a lot of people, a lot of POSSIBILITY). But it's not necessary.

In my experience, with a lot of pulls, there's a mutual understanding that was not there at present, but develops between me and the girl without being said.

And stating the obvious, "we're totally about to have sex babe" would actually kill that understanding. So would overly sexual flirts, roaming hands, and compliments about her looks.

So the question becomes, is there any good Youtube day game footage (or night game) that shows more "conversion", more of a battle, more of a chick going from indifferent to positive/negative to positive?

I honestly have not seen that in years, but I can't remember the last time (before today) that I dissected an infield.

Yes there are and if there weren’t, then why are you in this forum. Better go to a gym forum, fashion forum, etc and give advice there.

Interesting question.

One thing that strikes me is that even the coaches themselves nowadays seem to kind of concede to some degree at least with the 'numbers game' idea. (That it's basically a game of screening as opposed to 'conversion' as you put it)

And so if even the experts and coaches themselves believe that you can't get a girl who doesn't want to be seduced by you, then it makes sense that their infields will tend to be on girls who were interested and somewhat down at the open

I've seen most of coach kyles infields and I guess it is true that of his nightgame pulls that i've seen, they did seem to be on girls who were sympathetic to the approach, with one or two where the girls even actually opened him.

To be honest, i've never ever seen a PUA pull a girl who was what I would call a 'hard no' on the open. The closest I can think from memory is actually a Todd V 'pull' I saw in one of his products where the girl was less than neutral on his open, leaning more towards no than maybe/yes, but he managed to get her on an little instadate thing (it was at night). Can't remember if it ended in a lay or not. Another one was Julien from RSD with a girl that didn't seem interested in him at all. He wasn't actually able to get her (no kiss, no lay, nothing) although he did at least turn the interaction a little bit! (from essentially 'go away', at least in terms of body language, to at least one word replies and a smile here and there!)
