Women don't have the need for the wealthy white collar professional anymore because they are breaking into high paying careers in droves. Instead, women want the kind of man that excites them and fulfills the needs that they have. Modern day American women have no need for money and a guy who is a bread winner.
What modern day American women live on is validation and how popular a guy is. Whether that guy has a lot of Instagram followers, social status, and is someone they can show off to their friends to make them jealous. If that guy lives the kind of life that seems fun, high status, and exciting. Can the guy get them into the most popular parties, the coolest events, and how many people look up to the guy.
That is why some bartender at a nightclub can get so much more action than a wealthy banker making quarter of a mil per year. The banker is boring and they can have that rich guy anyways, the bartender is exciting. It all comes down to how well you as a man can capitalize on her need for validation, acceptance, and wanting to be associated with what is popular and cool.
