This is not a question that I've actively considered before, but when I recently read an article entitled Do women become more or LESS lustful when they orgasm before the man's climax?, I realized that there was more nuance to it than I'd thought. I don't think I was consciously going for any particular sequence, but on balance, it was she who came first most occasions I can remember, and I who came last. However, I've experienced a mix of both for sure—and it turns out there's a reason for that.
I'll let the author, Joyce Bedford, explain in her own words. It's an easy read, thanks to the humorous and cheeky manner of writing. Her work is very much in line with this forum's emphasis on prioritizing timely, passionate, and lustful sex and avoiding "nice guy" behavior. In this article and elsewhere, she includes scientific explanations and cites references, as Chase so often does, while illustrating everything through personal experience from her own female perspective.
In any event, check out the article below and perhaps some of the author's other stuff too on her website if you enjoy her writing style.
