For posterity, learning, fun, and profit, I'm posting these 3 FRs from the last 30 days when I really started to apply GC material (particularly Zphinx and Tool's "Still not getting results" post. Follow this one if you find yourself in a rut getting dates and/or pulling to a secluded location.) This is #1 of 3.
FR#1: CanadianSalsaGirl
I spent thanksgiving weekend at a major international salsa convention. (For those unfamiliar with these, they are basically big partner dancing parties at a major hotel. Classes all day, then performances and social dancing at night until three, four, or even six AM! =o ) I met CanadianSalsaGirl on the dance floor dancing bachata (a popular latin dance that can get very sexual if you both want it that way) , and I was on a major ego trip, because I had just danced with one of the world class performers / instructions from the congress. She made every move I led her into look awesomely sexy! It was like having power steering on a girl!
I meet CanadianSalsaGirl on the floor after this and ask her dance, and we just immediately hit it off bumping and grinding like crazy. I said "your too cute for just one dance", and got her to dance a second song. She went to dance with other leads after that, but said "don't worry, I'll be back to ride you again tomorrow night!". I had my own hotel room, but had yet to work up the balls to pull girls off of the dance floor yet, so Friday was fun dancing, but no action. Saturday night rolls around, and true to her word I find this girl on the bachata floor again. Things get heated quickly, so I get this pull /yes ladder going:
Me:"Tell me something, do you like wine?"
Her: "I love wine, why do you ask?"
Me:"How about amazing home made dessert wine?"
Her:"hmm..where is it?"
Me: "8th floor! Let's go up and dance and have some wine."
Her:"OK, but you have to promise to be a gentleman and bring me back downstairs."
Me: "Of course."
So we head up to my room (Kino all the way), and of course we run into another guy who is a dancer on the way up. She introduces us, and I'm cool about it, being nonplussed but friendly to this other dude. This seems fairly common in the partner dancing scene, and I've often wondered if this is a shit test for jealousy women like to give ("this is my <man> friend blah blah, he is <insert qualifiers here>". Then she looks at you to see your response.) Any thoughts on this behavior would be appreciated.
I had set up my room with this awesome portable speaker playing bachata music, so she immediately wants to start dancing as we walk in. This was my first real pull in months, so I have some nerves and don't manage to put my wallet back in my pocket (still in my hand) before trying to kiss her (I mean this is literally like 1-2 min after we get in the door), I eventually left it on a table. I have a close I do where I kiss them suggestively on the neck first, before going in, and its worked well for me so far. In this case she pulled back a bit and said "you still promise we're going back downstairs, right?", to which I say "yes", and we start making out (she went in for the kiss with me). We have some wine and conversation and make out some more, and I manage to get her on the bed and start grinding on her and she starts moaning, then the LMR sets in after a few minutes and she says "we need to go back downstairs soon." I say "the floor is open till six AM, so we'll get there.
", and she keeps pushing for an exit with her words (admittedly not much with her body, she didn't even get up at first, really.) Of course, being a beginner to GC, I cave and take here back downstairs rather than persisting (big mistake). I get her number as we part (not sure why I would need it) and go back to dancing. I tried pulling a couple other girls that night, but noticed that alcohol is not the right suggestion. Since then I have learned that chocolate (one of my faves) is a good one, as it implies sex and avoids the implication that you would try to get them drunk and take advantage of them.
I had a drunken AFC moment later in the evening when I realized I don't have my wallet and end up texting her to ask about it. Then I found it so it was cool. She was very friendly in her text back in the morning, thanking me for "being a gentleman". I may go on a trip to her city with a buddy of mine later this year, so who knows, right?
My Key takeaways:
1) Persistence would have been key here. She kept saying she wanted to go back downstairs, but that doesn't mean she didn't want to have sex when properly aroused.
2) Chase has a move where you pull the nipples out early. I was already grinding with her, so I think this move would have helped.
3) I've decided chocolate, dancing, pets (I have cats) or a movie are better premises for a pull than alcohol. It avoids the "I want you to make a bad decision" vibe.
