I didn't go out with the intention of picking up today, also because my day game is still far behind my night game and I still need to develop some good day-game basics. Anyway, I guess that after the nightclub/bars and social events practising of the last months plus having bedded some girls, something is naturally starting to change in me.
FIRST UNINTENTIONAL ENCOUNTER: Sunglasses store.
I went to this huge mall in the city centre because I needed to buy some sunglasses. There were 2 girls working there and, needless to say, they were both very pretty. I'd say one was a 7 and the other even a 8.5. As I was looking the different models the hottest one came close to me and told me if I needed help. I said that I was still undecided about what to buy so she started giving me advice. The initial part of the interaction was a normal customer-seller interaction. But at one point I don't remember what "cocky joke" I made and things started to warm up. She started to ask me where I was from. I told her to guess, which she did only 1 minute later and after I gave her a tip. Then (because I am living in a different european country different than the one I am from) she started complimenting me on my language skills. She told me that she's also from another country but she's lived here the last 15 years. Then after another joke I made (I don't remember which one was it.. I wasn't really in pick-up mode so I was kinda distracted) she started to dance a bit, shaking her ass in a provocative way. I told her "I am sure you do that much better than me, we should go dancing together sometimes". Then I asked her "so, if we become friends does this give me some advantages here at the mall, like discounts or free samples?" She said "no sorry, I am not an important member of staff yet", then she walked me to the register (which is common for all stores on the same floor) which was kinda strange, because the register was pretty far from the shop. Normally workers just point customers where the register is. As the cashier was handling the process, the one I had been talking with was standing close to me. So I asked her: is this a special price a get for being your friend? To which she reacted by laughing and putting her head on my shoulder. When It was time for me to leave she told me "anyway, you know where you can find me if you have any problems" to which I answered "sure, although if you give me a contact I can find you even better" to which she smiled and answered "I can give you the number of the store if you want to". My final answer (which I regret) was "ok, I'll look you up on the yellow pages then".
Thinking about it later I don't like the way I answered. I should have kept it flirty and say something like "Pity, I was hoping we could go dancing and you could teach me some other move". How would have you behaved at the end? Because I know where she works, what do you suggest I do now?
SECOND UNINENTIONAL ENCOUNTER: Waitress
Before going back home I decided to stop for a beer at this bar not far away from my place. As I was drinking my beer I was also reviewing some notes from my master program. As the waitress (not bad) came to ask if I wanted anything more (to which I answered that I wanted to pay) she took a look at my notes and said: "looks like pretty hard stuff" to which I answered "you bet" and then we went into a 7-minute conversation about where I was studying and the about her, the fact that she also wants to do a master in restaurant management to which I told her "I bet you want to have your own restaurant right?" to which she answered "Yes, that's my goal" and I finished the conversation by saying: "well, then let me know when you open it, I'll be your first customer". It was a pretty "high-class" bar with a lot of old people, for some reason it felt awkward to ask the number
THIRD UNINTENTIONAL ENCOUNTER: Supermarket Cashier
This is a very short one. As I was standing in line for paying my stuff at the supermarket I was chatting with a friend on my smartphone and smiling because of the things we were writing to each other. I hadn't realised that it was my turn at the register and when I did, the cashier was very entertained and smiling and she told me: "talking with your girlfriend?" to which I said "which one of them?" to which she laughed out loud.
ADDITIONAL EVENT
I got in touch yesterday evening with the smoking hot girl I made out with on Monday. We exchanged a couple of messages and I asked her out, to which she said yes. But then something strange happened. I told her I could meet her today or in the weekend to which she said that she couldn't today but that she could tomorrow (thursday), friday and saturday. Tomorrow I really can't so I told her "what about Friday?" And she replied "Friday actually I can't, what about Sunday?" To which I replied yes. So it looks like I have a date on Sunday but something just doesn't smell right. I have this feeling she will flake somehow.
The strange thing is that on the previous message she had listed Friday as a possible day, so I am wondering whether in our text exchange I made something wrong.
This one is also messing with my fundamentals a bit. I was becoming pretty good at going through the whole process expectation-less. To just see the whole process from the "performance" point of view without being too emotional. But this one is kinda messing with my inner game
I guess I'll have to work a bit more on emotional strength and "peace of mind no matter what".
