A friend just gave birth, Should i pay her a visit?

A girl, a friend, whom once chase me a lot before she got married. Now she's married and just gave birth. She gave an open invitation online to visit her in the hospital.

I want to visit her, she's a friend of mine but i wonder if this hurts her ego. and say her husband is better. Obviously i don't want a scene in a hospital. -.-

He gets jealous easily too, that's another problem. and i have no idea about him knowing anything.
