Let me just say this...the current woman I am engaged too...took 7 months to take her virginity. What was funny was that she wasn't allowing me to take it until she was assured I loved her (she was waiting for the right one) so we ended up in a relationship anyway and actually a lot of it was long-distance. We had the classic annoyance drama of not moving quick enough to bed...for some reason it was hilarious after I had bedded her that she chased like mad crazy when things were pretty smooth and even till then.
