Well ive been working on my daygame for the past months, by that i mean i decided to dedicate my approaching to women i dont know outside of my social circles or workplace and as i dont go out much at night its been all during daygame.
Something i found when doing this, besides that the first period of purely daygaming is as hard and frustrating as something can be, is that i meet a lot of interesting women that i didnt expect them to be before approaching.
Also i realized i got really lazy with writing my reports so i plan on changing that from now on since doing it helps a lot.
So...
I was today at a goverment building to have a meeting with an important public representative regarding some projects im working on with other people in my field. This as any goverment building is huge full of offices and hallways. So after my meeting i had to meet other representatives, so i was walking trying to find out one office and when i found it the secretary was in the hallway so i asked her if the person i was looking for was in, while i was asking her that, she told me to wait as she was ordering coffee from a waiter who was like 10 meters from her so she was yelling and in the meantime a girl arrived desperate because she was late to a meeting and didnt know were it was, so it was me standing, the secretary yelling with the waiter and this new girl begging and apologizing but that she needed help. While all this was happening another girl, blonde with colourful but elegant clothes came and asked me if i was part of x party meeting, i told her "no, but you could be part of the lost people group we are creating here" She laughed and stayed close while checking her phone, i kept chatting to her joking about how this always happens and the secretary called me and she left.
So when i was leaving the building to enter another a block away i was walking on the street and waiting to cross at a stop light and i saw her at the corner standing right next to me, so i ask her if she had any luck with her quest and she told me that she had to go to the other building, the same i was going. She then asked why i was there and when i told her she knew about it, so i asked back what did she do and told me she was a journalist. So i asked her for which media and what she was covering, etc, she gave me an elusive answer to that and when we reached the entrance of the other building i headed for the reception desk which i always need to go for a pass and she passed right through security so that meant i lost her again.
After doing all the things i had to i went out and checked the time, it was like 12:20 and i was thinking that it would have been great to know more about that girl. So when i went out i decided to wait 10 minutes until 1230 in case for some reason i had the chance to run into her one more time. You know how this is, most likely it doesnt happen.
So i dont know why but exactly at 1230 when i was already getting ready to go, i was leaning against a wall next to the entrance, i see her pass right through me checking her phone and i was like "i cant believe i let her go" so i picked my backpack and walked behind her until she was waiting to cross the street at the next corner so i appeared she looked at me and smiled and i said:
Me "we keep bouncing into each other"
Her "hey! i lost you at the entrance"
Me: "well not everyone is a vip like you that can go right through you know"
She laughs
by this time we already crossed the street and i stopped and she stopped facing me so we stopped walking now
Me " hey i wanted to ask you i know you are a journalist but how did you know about the project im working in"
Her " well i cover this area so i like to be aware of everything that goes on"
Me " How interesting thats my approach to work too, cover every detail "
Her smiles and jokes about being obsesive
Me "you didnt really told me what media are you part of"
Her "answers and explains is a small private media, etc"
Me " i imagine is really interesting work, i never actually knew a journalist before, plus i love your style
(she smiles)
Me: i have to go now but we should talk some other time,
Her: " ok you can write to the agency email that i always check it"
Me: I will, but i actually meant i want to talk with you some other time (said that looking at her eyes and smiling)
Her Well we can only keep it professional
Me: are you in a relationship?
Her Married actually
Me: a pity then, but i loved meeting you and i will write to your email, im sure you can pass me some useful info i cant access
Her "yes actually we know about all the sessions and details about the projects........"
Me " well ill be in touch then, you know i just realized i never asked your name...."
Her tells me her name and asks mine
Me i tell her and gave her a kiss goodbye with a smile and i left.
So that was it, didnt got her number but i met someone really interesting that actually is a very useful contact for what im doing. So this doesnt mean that i surely could have managed things better and probably got her anyway but im learning more and more lately that when approaching instead of going for a "yes or no" its better to go for "lets see where this take me"
