So, about 4 or 5 months ago this new girl came to my school and me and her hit it off. For the first couple of weeks after she came I was sure she liked me. She always clung to me, always wanted to hang out with me and nobody else, and we went to a couple of Haunted Houses for Halloween. We were always flirting and even pretended we were dating for a little bit. I myself after a bad breakup have chosen to wait a year before I actually do start dating again so this is why i didn't ask this girl out. She would always come to me when she had a problem or needed help.
Lately her attitude towards me has dramatically changed. She no longer flirts with me, doesn't want to hang out with me barely ever, and we rarely talk anymore. The not talking as much has really hit me hard because she used to tell me huge secrets about her past; knowing i wouldn't judge and would only be there for support. Well, now she wont even tell me the smallest of things.
My problem is that I really, really like this girl and care a lot about her while we just aren't as close anymore. Was she just being a tease, did she just loose interest, or what; and if she has lost interest how can I win her back? I really like this girl and don't wanna loose her.

the only way to get her back is to be complteley honest with her and say u weren't ready for commitment but now u are. even that might not work if she's already moved on but its worth a shot.

Im the tease??? I really dont think so... I do wanna go out with her eventually but i dont wanna just jump in to a relationship with her. I wanna get to know her first... nvm ill just seek help elsewhere.

To me that's sending mixed signals bud on your part. Why not deep dive when she had the hots for you? My guess is you thought "it's in the bag". She went cold on you because she didn't know if you were just friendly or timid or whatever went through her head. You get to know her after you fucked her, then you see her true colors. Women hate when you don't make the first move. Few will make it themselves.

This statement shows that you probably haven't read much about what this website is about or what it is that women want. Although Eternity probably could have worded it a bit better, he was essentially pointing out the fact that you didn't make a move when she was showing signs of interest, and now her attraction has expired for you.

It sounds to me like she also might have met another guy at some point recently. Usually that will instantly cause her to change her attention elsewhere. It's not that she suddenly feels like you aren't important to her anymore as much as she's likely shifted her interest toward men who are looking to move things forward with her, take her to bed, and possibly become her boyfriend.

Its amazing how dumb some of us guys are. Ive done the same thing, saying I need time to get over this, when you really only need a few weeks at most, and that doesnt mean you cant date. I wish I had a better mind-state back in high school or even early college.

You gotta move fast or somehow sustain her interest and work into it. The amount of times Ive dilly dallied and girls were probably thinking "What the hell is wrong with this guy? I like him and he wont do anything. Well, bye."
