I have no idea why but the articles on Girls Chase don't work when I'm on the computer. I click on them and it goes ''Page not found'', no matter what browser I may use. However, when I use my smartphone, the website works like a charm. Unfortunately, the wifi on my phone is broken and I don't have 3g, so I have to use the computer to surf the web. I was just wondering if this issue already happened to someone here and if there's a way to solve it. It really feels like a withdrawal haha

Is this the case with all articles (including the newer ones), or are you having this issue with every article?

I can't seem to find the post, but someone else had this same problem a while back. It was because Chase had a handful of articles taken off of the site, I believe?

Yeah it happens with every article :( It's pretty weird considering the site seems functionnal and my computer is too. Anyway, are there some users that have a style of game similar to Chase's one and are a bit bohemian on the edge? I think it'd be awesome to see their reports and to learn from those guys as it's my natural style at the moment and attracts my niche of girls.

This is odd.

Any more details on the connection errors you're seeing, Goon, so we can try to have our developer replicate them?

Operating system you're using on the machine you're connecting to, etc.

Also, can you check the URLs appearing in your resource bar at the top of your browser and confirm they're showing up right? My guess would be something strange is happening with them, but then again don't know why that would happen cross browser.

Chase -

I had the same problem on Monday. The issue seems to be that too many people are connected to the server. That's what I assume though based on the web pop up page. On my smartphone I tried Google chrome, Firefox, opera and maxton browsers. All resulted with the same message. The problem has been fixed now as far I can tell but in case anyone still has a problem then check this screenshot I took of the bug.

Edit: I would have preferred to attach the screenshot without any links showing up. I've seen guys on here do it before but I'm not aware of what to do. I uploaded this one to my box account so it could be linked here. I tried putting the link inside the image button but that didn't show the image so I put it inside the URL button. Any advice on how to attach a image guys?

Thanks Troy. We were having some issues with the server after a server move two weeks ago - our host inadvertently turned off some of our caching, which threw a monkey wrench into the site. Load times went through the roof, PHP scripts wouldn't stop running, MySQL connections went crazy. They kept telling us, "It's not us, even though it started 30 minutes after we moved your server; sorry, your site is just broken."

Mike came in and cleaned up some PHP issues on the server side, and then I realized our host had shut off some of our caching and told them to turn it back on. Once those things were solved, weird issues like the "too many connections" error, the GC quiz not working, and us not being able to upload preview images to new articles went away. The site also seems to be loading a good clip faster than usual now too, thanks to the backend work Mike did when he got in there and tuned things up a bit.

On posting images, see this article: http://www.bbcode.org/examples/?id=10

But basically, there's a button in the menu bar above the text box that says "Img" - you just click that button and paste the file path to the image you want to show - in this case, yours would be:

Code:
[img]https://app.box.com/representation/file_version_21466721203/image_2048_jpg/1.jpg?shared_name=gr486jcocnwxei7vo1l7[/img]

... and it looks like this:
