AKA buttdials

I have been getting accidental phone calls from girls that ignore me after sending the date-scheduling text. The accidental phone call may come in a couple minutes or weeks after contacting the girl.

Is this is opportunity to re-engage? Should I ignore the buttdial and act like nothing happened ?

I had 6 girls accidentally buttdial me since January and I followed up on all of them with the following:

"Hey, missed your call! Can't talk now. How's that schedule coming along to grab food together?"

From the 6, 2 answered w/ vague responses and did not show their schedule.

Anyone encounter this problem?

Barry,

That could just be an extremely low investment way of just checking to see if you're still chasing them. This usually means they're not interested, but sometimes they might be more curious about you if you've cut contact with them.

Instead of calling them back (which is extremely high investment), it'd be best to do something that's equally low investment or lower. I would run with my favorite text by NJ:

...Yep. Send them a question mark. They'll be a lot more likely to respond to that than a phone call. =)

Mr. B,

Chasing them? That threw me off.

Barry was insinuating that these were girls of whom he got the number from, but the girls always flaked on the dates and he eventually cut them off. Since they flaked, you can assume that they were just trying to get Barry to "chase" them, so the "buttdial" was a way of trying to get Barry to send them a text and continue chasing them.

In most cases, I would not even know it is her number because I usually delete a girl's number if she flakes 2 times on me...

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

The crazy thing is that they always hold tight to your number (except for a few cases) even when you've deleted them off your list. And after a great deal of time has passed, they shoot you a text out of the blues or give you a tinkle.
And by God, isn't it shocking that when you answer these calls and request that they identify themselves(apparently you won't be able to recognize their numbers again), they get thoroughly pissed and try to make you appear as though you a wretched sinner for deleting their numbers? Lol.

From my experience though, these women enjoy the fact that you chase them....they love the attention you give, as most of them derive their sense of self-worth from it. So when you, uncharacteristically, go radio-silent on them, they come proding at you just to see if they have got you where they thought they had placed.
Unfortunately, most men out there ( even myself am guilty of this) would 100% of the time resume the chasing...and the gal goes back to sleep knowing you're where she wants you be. Smh....a very dreadful experience by all standards.

Replace them hoes, fellas! That's the surest fucking way out of this dance of shame.
