My first day trying to bring new girls into my life ended with 0 for 4.. But I noticed something different about my attitude towards people after I got myself out there talking to girls I didn't know trying to score a date: Despite the lack of success, the experience seemed to make it so that I was comfortable talking to anybody for anything now.
It feels as though I broke down any paranoia or barriers I might have had before hand when talking to new people. The uncertainty is gone, the self-consciousness is gone, and I no longer care what an individual person may think of me... Only people as a whole.
I'm a newbie that dived in right away and started cold approaching for dates right off the bat. Breaking that fear looks like it will be one of the most useful events of the summer.
