An issue with preselection...

Preselection is, put simply, a way of attracting women by allowing them to observe you interact positively with other (pretty) women.

However, i'm not sure whether this would backfire during daygame. If i was at the train station (as i frequently am), have a conversation with a girl while she's waiting for her train, get her number before she's about to leave, etc. Then if i just turn around and again approach the nearest woman, i think she will think badly about that. Like i am insincere with my words and as soon as she gets onto her train, i'll be chasing another woman. I don't think girls will respect this.

You have to understand what pre-selection is good for, first of all. Pre-selection is best used on women who ordinarily would not be interested in you at a given moment but are likely to change their minds if they see you having a positive interaction with another respectably attractive female.

If you attempt to use pre-selection on a girl who already thinks positively of you and is hoping you'll progress things forward with her, she'll simply go into auto-rejection because she'll feel like you don't value her any more than you do any other girl. She'll feel like she's put her best foot forward to show that she's interested, but then you'll simply ignore her signals because you're not genuinely interested. In this case pre-selection actually has the opposite effect and actually makes her believe she can't have you, so to protect her ego and reputation, she won't move things further with you.

So in a sense, you are correct in your analysis. But it is important that you understand why. =)

Pre-selection is also situational.

If, from your example, you are opening at day by a station, simply because you are waiting for transport, then you can just use a situational opener.

Pre-selection is only useful when you're already in an environment that is abundant with women; such as bars and clubs.

Remember, in order to be successful, you don't always have to do everything in the book. Don't create more work for yourself than you normally have to and just stay natural.
