I've posted in the beginner board about approach invitations ending in rather blunt rejections. I've included examples that might be useful in the field reports board for other members. Sorry for duplicating this, mods feel free to delete.
Field report examples
1. Two girls danced next to me and my wing, I made eye contact with one and gave her a smile. She smiled back warmly, I put my hand out and invited her to dance and she blanked me. I wasn't bothered and turned back to my wing. She danced closer to me and bumped into me before pushing her back and ass against me. I touched her arm and she blanked me and walked off. She done the exact same thing the following week
2. Near the bar a girl bumped into me, I looked, we made eye contact and exchanged a smile. She played with her hair and looked down before looking back at me smiling. I said hi and asked her how her night was going. She looked disgusted, very bluntly said she was out with her friends and walked away
Later at the bar she looked at me the same way again, it was the exact same moment but I didn't talk to her. A girl I'm friends with noticed and told me she's clearly interested in me and encouraged me to talk to her, I told her I tried earlier and that she looked at me like I kicked her gran. I've been blown out rather harshly going back up to girls in this exact situation before that I avoid it.
3. I was hanging with my wing and a group of girls stood next to us. One of them kept checking me out and we made eye contact. She smiled and edged away from her group turning her body away from them and towards me. I walked over and said hi, she shook her head at me, looked at me like I called her fat, shooed me away while looking away in disgust. If that wasn't bad enough her friends got involved and told me to leave her alone. It escalated quickly.
She popped back up next to me on the dancefloor with her friends later on in the night but I didn't want that experience again. It's a harsh rejection being told to "fuck off".
