Approaching girls with her friends

Hey guys, I am rather new to the website and I'm in high school so I apologize if this was covered somewhere else, but I was going out the other day and I saw a girl I liked with a group of her friends and I didn't know if I should talk to her or not and if so, what should I say? (keeping I'm mind she was with her friends) what is ur opinion on the best way to talk to a girl with a group of her friends around? Thanks in advance
