Hi everyone,

Yesterday I was out with friends in a bar and quite drunk (which is not the best mode for decent socializing, I know).

On the other side of the table two female friends of mine sat down and competed for me (guess it was more a "fun" competition as both were in a relationship).

I have no idea how it got to that point but we started to do arm wrestling. Me against both of them. I didn't let them win though as it might have looked as if I wasn't able to beat two at a time (that the defeat was real).

A man who sat next to me (he was about 40 years old, I'm 22) said that I have to always let girls win at this. He said I would get together with them more likely if I let them win. I didn't agree. He said that he spoke from experience. I then said that age doesn't mean experience... (He was there with his buddy and not talking to a single woman the whole night).

My question: Was he right? Does letting girls win at Arm Wrestling make them more into me? Maybe winning is too much trying impress? Or does it come across as stronger when I let them win because they know I had won anyway - but didn't need to?

Depends on what was at stake in the contest and what the disparity in size is.

When you are 6 ft and 200# plus with noticable biceps you can toy with these girls and get the stakes in your favor. "Arm wrestle for a kiss and a drink." Make it in your interest to LET her or them win.

I've given girls a "head start" after easily beating them and let them beat me with my hand close to the table.

If you are a slight built guy there is not the preconception that you can easily win so there is going to be some pressure to show you can.

Now if she breaks a couple of beer bottles and puts them on the table and says "Let's make this interesting" , you better damn sure win....
