Asking for a date... via text

Okay guys,

Second post here... I was beingh a ghost n watchin the boards to learn, and I managed to get this girls number, but when I asked, I didn't get the number after establishing a date... I told her she could text me, and she offered her number... Since I didn't ask for a date, how can I do that now??? Like outta the blue.

From the T Vaunswa post (I think that was his name, the guy with the weight bar pic), he says something like "Hey XYZ, how about that coffee date... what's your schedule like this week?"

I can't do that... so would I say somehting like "Hey such and such, I'm going to be doing blah blah blah (some activty) this Sunday, care to join me?"

Or what do I do?

Very important: you need to be clear in your intentions. She needs to know you are approaching her because you want to bed her. Also, girls are an emotional roller coasters. Just because she felt great during your interaction doesn't mean she feels that way when you hit her up (either about you or in general). Imagine she's upset, why the hell would she want to see a random guy who out of the blue asks for a date.

While I do agree 100% that you have to stop texting back and forth with a girl and that you need to go for what you want, you too need to make her feel comfortable. There are some great articles about text game on GC as well as on the boards or even in some of the FRs of the great folks we have here who explain why they wrote what.

Thank you both for your help, it's taken me a while to get back, but thanks Light and nino. I managed to get the girl on a date but she wasn't really as fun as I thought she would be =/

Also, how's my English now?
