Hey fellas!
So the other day, I was at the shopping mall, and I noticed this girl looking at me. Had eye contact for a quick second or so, and I decided to round the mall and return to her in an attempt to not let my approach seem like a result of her eye contact. After meeting a few people I knew at the mall, I reached her sitting spot again, and as I looked toward her, she maintained eye contact for about 3 seconds, before I decided to finally open.
So I went ahead and opened. When I shook her hand, although I generally check how long I can hold a girl's hand, that day for some reason I forgot to do that, and took my hand away after about 2 seconds. But I felt that she wanted to keep holding.
Moreover, she responded pretty positively to my questions.....and maintained eye contact for a large percentage of time. When I asked for meetup, she agreed too, and put her number when I gave her my phone. Also, when leaving the place, I shook her hand, and I can tell she would have kept holding my hand for a while if I didn't leave immediately. She also kept rotating her head slowly maintaining eye contact as I moved from her right side slowly toward her left to leave the place, while looking into her eyes.
BUT......and this is a big one.....she is not responding to my texts. After an hour of meeting, at about 10.30pm, I sent her...."Hi half-romantic R! Nice meeting you. - Kevin" (she said she is not too romantic to read Nicholas Sparks) I know it was not a text to which she had to reply, but still.
Also, the second day, I sent another text at about 7pm....."Hey....not sitting at the same spot, are you?
"....no response either. (sent this text because before leaving, I had said to her "Not planning to stay here the whole night, are you?")
I checked the number using a website, and it says the number is saved as a guy's name. So if she gave me incorrect number, why? Her non-verbals showed interest as far as I can tell.
Also, in case IT IS her number, should I contact her again? If yes, do I text or call, and how much gap should I keep in between texts. Also, how long do I persist till I eventually delete her number if she continues not to respond?
