Took a little bit of a break to recharge my batteries and get some things in perspective. I learned something and in the meantime, got a cool vibe, warm, confident, and little bit sexy. Some girls that I talked to before, I'll try to post up but don't count on it.
Girl 1: I walked past her and then, thinking better of myself, walked back. She is very taken aback and shy and unreceptive. I think that she probably saw me already which made me look like a player.
To improve on: approach without hesitatation
Girl 2: sitting down, I think to circle around or something but then something magical takes over and I just stride over to her. She is quite receptive but tells me quite early that she is engaged. I say okay and continue talking. She needs to get to class, so either I move her or she gets up and we start walking. I should have done that first. I deep dive and we talk about how she wants to be in accounting, I talk about the movie Wall Street, getting a little too eager to please because I know that I don't have much chance. Should've toned that down anyway. I try to meet up and when she tries to give me her email, I don't follow my own advice and say no. But we part with good feelings.
To improve on: slow down
Girl 3: sitting down, I approach, she looks familiar so I flub a little by asking if I've talked to her before. I haven't but then say: "Well, I wish I had because you're very cute" and she was the CUTEST thing I've seen in weeks. We talk about what she is doing and she says that she has a test in 20 minutes and is studying. I try to initiate something and she says "You're great but I have a boyfriend". We talk some more and I leave cheerfully.
To improve on: just go for it, if you've seen her before, who cares, most times you haven't
Girl 4: a black girl sitting down. I don't normally approach black girls because I'm not usually attracted to them, but she had a killer body and great hair. I tell her that AND HERE'S THE COOL THING: I realize that if I say this all at once, it will seem insincere so I pause and slow down my opening. It works. I sit down and we get to talking real easily. She mentioned that she needed to get to class for a test (she takes the same class as the other girl) and later, I used this as a reason to move her. We walk and talk real easily. I'm having a good time so I make the mistake of being uncool sometimes but it's okay because when I'm talking to her, I do remember to deep dive on her and limit conversation to me. I mention meeting up and she assents cherrily, without being pressed, gives me her phone. I put in my number and call myself. We part when the elevator door closes.
