This happened last Saturday. I went out with my bro for the 4th or 5th time this year. We've only been to nightclubs at this point.
We wanted to get into a nightclub we went to last time, but the bouncer doesn't let us in this time. I suggest we hit a bar instead, and we find one. I'm getting excited since we haven't really talked to anyone except one person here and there the other times. It's easier to slide into conversation in a bar imo.
Girl 1
We get there and find a spot close to the small dancefloor. At one point he leaves for the bathroom, and I notice on the table next to us that one of the girls has gone to the bathroom as well. I open the one remaining by asking how far they have made it with their shots challenge. She shows me the list that they have to complete and replies that it's going well. I wish her luck before returning to my own world again. I can feel that this very small conversation has made the ball rolling.
My bro gets back and challenges me to go dance on the DF myself. I wait until a song comes on I like and go out there. I dance for no more than 10 seconds since I couldn't find match the beat lol. I challenge him to go alone as well, but he never gets out there by himself. Eventually we go together, and I put myself in the centre while he stays in the periphery for some reason.

While I'm dancing, I feel someone spank my ass out of nowhere. It must be an accident. Eventually the group splits up. It's not that late, but the DF is a little thinned out. I notice the girl from before, she's still dancing by herself. I make my way to her by dancing until I stand next to her. Once I'm there, I am not sure how to proceed. I'm having a great time. I know I'm rusty in the way I talk to girls, but I'm putting myself out there. At this point, I'm satisfied with the things I've done until now. But the fun isn't stopping there.
While I'm dancing I find a wallet on the floor. I deliver it to the bartender. This will be important later. I go back dancing.

What I learned
- I feel like a newbie once again haha :') But getting that momentum rolling made the night much better
- Don't ask girls if they want to do something... lead them to do it.
- Go to the city with your friend's car or by public transportation -> less logistical issues
- For next outing, create some goals to test out. I feel like I'm ready to get back to meeting girls, and this time also be more systematic about it.
