First day all week it's been sunny!
Didn't really feel like running around the mall scouring for women so I decided to hang in the lounge area in the middle of the mall to wait for the cuties to come to me.
Girl #1: Cute brunette with a curvy medium full body in a sundress passed me by and I got up to chase her down.
She was on the phone and didn't really feel much hesitation like I normally do telling her to put the phone down for a minute. I preopened and said
Me: "Hey! Hold up a second. Can you put the phone down for a minute?"
Her: " Uh Yeah! What?!"
Me: "I saw you walking in front of me and had to come tell you you look amazing! And wanted to come see if you're single..."
Her: With a semi smirk "Thanks but No. Im actually talking to my boyfriend as we speak"
Me: Speaking soft since I knew he was on the phone "Well hurry up and get off the phone and we can be just friends" sexy smirk + eye contact
Her: " Not interested dude..."

Girl #2: Tried a shirt on and was genuinely asking for a girls opinion without thinking to start a conversation realizing when I dismissed her she was actually cute. Bought the shirt left the shop and ended up soon crossing paths with her so I caught back up to her preopend and said
Me: "Hey hold up a second!"
Her: " yeah..."
Me: " you know when you were helping me with that shirt a minute ago I realized your very cute and wanted to come introduce myself."
Her: " oh hey! Im hannah."
Me: "Im Rob... so what are you up to today?"
Her:"Just doing some shopping."
Me: "You don't look like you've had a successful day in that?" *pointing to her bag less hands.
Her: "Ha well i've really just been browsing so far, im about to go get some shoes from dillards and meet my mom. What about you?"
Me: "I have a dinner with my parents i'm supposed to go to and needed a nice shirt for the occasion."
Her: " ahh I see"
Me: " Yeah it kinda sucks you know going out with parents and stuff but it's cool we get along good" Nervous babbling
Her:" How old are you?"
Me: "Im, 19.."
Me:" So tell me. Do you go to college or high school or what?"
Her: "Highschool!"
Me:"so your 17? 18?"
Her: "17 but im about to have a birthday soon!"
Me:" Oh right on. let me guess you must go to Washington?"
Her:" No. Navarre high actually."
Me: "Dual enrollment or full time highschool."
Her: "dual enrollment"
Me: pause can't think of anything to say so we walk in silence for a couple of seconds
Moments later we start talking about school and she asks
Her: "so do you do this a lot?"
Me: "Well i don't come here specifically to hit on girls but if a cute one catches my eye I can't help myself."
Her: " haha I see."
We talk a little longer with another awkward pause and eventually get to the crossroad of where im leaving to go to my car. I invite her to get a cup of coffee and she resists so I persist and tell her to make a decision. She seems like she likes my company but says she needs to get up with her mom. I tell her thats fine and I'll find her once she turns 18.

Girl #3: While making a call outside bookstore A girl with nice legs walks past and I follow up behind her. No pre-open and say
Me: "Hey! hold up a second!"
Her: " Sure whats up?"
Me: "Are you single?"
Her: "Yeah." very ambivalently
Me: "I just thought you had an awesome pair of legs and wanted to come say hi. Im Rob."
Her: "Oh haha thanks. Im Brittany!"
Me: "So what are you up to today?"
weHer: "Im about to go pick up some food and meet my parents. What are you doing?"
Me: "Ha same thing, just killing time before I go eat dinner with my parents."
Her: "Well I gotta go so why don't we trade numbers and start talking?"
Me: "Whoa hold up, don't get rid of me too fast."
Her: "haha im not I just figured.."
Me: "well you just came from a bookstore Im sure you have a couple minutes to spare..."
Her: "Yeah I guess your right..."
Me: Since I approached her at her truck "I like how your a truck girl, you must be a country girl!"
Her: "haha yeah I am."
Me: "where are you from?"
Her: "well im from here but im country girl at heart." Can't really remember all the convo but after trading some polite convo and not hitting it off super well she still seemed to be interested in me and wanted my number. I sorted out logistics asking her when she's free this week and told her we should grab a coffee wednesday since i'll be in town to sign up for classes. She seemed low to mediumly interested but still down for a date I got the vibe she doesn't see too many guys in her country bumpkin town.
Improve: Keep conversation in perpetual motion.
Girl #4 at the beach girl with family but isolated by herself at the edge of the water. I walked up pretended to notice her and preopened. My opening body language was off and a little awkward this led to her being a little taken aback and uncomfortable although I think she was just like that anyway. Anyways I opened
Me: "Hey Im a little lost I was think you might can help me.. Im looking for the pier."
Her: "I think its over there" *points and starts to shy away.
Me: "Ha, Im just kidding I thought you were cute and wanted to introduce myself."
Her: "oh thanks" *starts shying away more
Me: "oh no way awesome. Where are you from?"
Her: "new orleans but I have a boyfriend" *continues shying away.
Me: "oh I should probably watch my back then huh, I know yall new orleanians are tough stuff (there actually just crazy)."
Her: "well no he's not here but I can't be talking to you." *We both exit the conversation awkwardly and part ways
Me: "okay well it was awesome getting to know you."
Improve: Opening body language more natural; and I feel like the dirt was on her mirror not mine I usually don't get that bad of a reception
Girl #5 walking back to my car in the parkinglot I see a cute asian/american girl talking on the phone now that i know I can take on the women on the phone I go up preopen and with pretty solid body language (for me) I say
Me: "Hold that thought for a second" she looks at me "I saw you walking and had to come tell you you look amazing" Her face brights up a bit and tells me to wait a second so she can continue her conversation on the phone.
Her: Puts phone away and apologizes for making me wait.
I ask her what she's doing out here all alone and tells me she's meeting up with some friends and asks me the same question. I bullshit an answer pointing to the biggest hotel on the beach and tell her my buddies are renting out the room and am waiting around to party later with them (squeezing in some social prooff) She starts telling me how we should party together since I came and approached her but I tell her I don't take cute acquaintences to party's... but a date to get to know each other might work

Her: "i don't know that kind of sketchy meeting up with someone i don't know to go on a date Im from California people don't do that there."
Me: "Not necessarily were acquaintences we already know each other a little bit. Besides it's less sketchy then taking you to some party with people you've never met."
Her: "hmm. I guess so but."
Me: I cut the thread and focus on something more positive "So your from califronia are you here on vacation or what your story"
Her: "No the freaking military."
me: "Oh no way what branch?"
Her:"Navy"
me: "Nice thats my favorite. But you don't like it much?"
Her: frowns and shakes head.
Me: "So how do you like it here"
Her: She tells me her thoughts on the place and we small talk a little more and some big military guys comes up tells me my name and shakes my hand. I ask him if we know each other and he says he heard my approach when they were on the phone. I know now were both cock blocking each other and I tell him its nice to meet him tell the girl we should meet up soon, grab her number and bid the two fairwell.
Improve on- better fluid, fun conversation.
Over all im happy just to be back out on the field and best of all my A.A. I can tell is diminishing letting me focus more on the skillset rather than the anxiety.
