We pass two cute girls on park bench. My friend: "no, I don't feel like it today --- they only looked up to us briefly --- don't seem interested --- if you want, go".

Have no idea how to open, but I remind myself that I currently have zero girls in this country and go over, saying "Hi!", earning a brief and strange "what does he want?" look as I sit down on the bench right next to the girls.

Anyway they open up immediately afterwards. I tell them my friend had sent me ^^

He joins and sits down outside, next to me. To include him, I change to the other side, now sitting on the bench with the girls between us. Each of us is now talking to one. I'm unable to decide which I desire more. I'm not focussed.

Things go well, but it's a little too much fluff talk and I think I am too blurry and playing myself down too much when she asks me what I do. Anyway I suggest a move to a bar.

In the bar things die down. No couches, so we sit at a glass table. I grab the girls hand, but everybody can see it through that table. I want to avoid her feeling social pressure, so I let go.

We do yet another move, but this time it already requires some convincing. I am about to just let them go, but then again I want to see if I can be just a little more persistent.

While walking, the girl who's hand I held for that second is now avoiding walking next to me.

*Lessons learnt*

* I should have a universal opener ready.
* I have to remind myself to decide soon which girl to game.
* When talking just to the girl on my side, I should screen, reward, deep dive, maybe even be a little distracted at times, deliberately.
* I will chose better upon moving. If a bar doesn't fit my desired logistics I'll head to another. Even just standing could have maintained a better vibe.
* Currently I have no idea how, but maybe I can somehow isolate the girl instead of taking her hand in a situation like that.
* I will move faster and assume attraction - but in a more covert manner.
* I'll prepare a short answer for the typical "... and what do YOU do?" question, ideally one that creates intrigue in turn.
* Generally, once in-field in such a situation, I tend to forget "everything" I learnt. So I will craft an according cheat sheet containing just short reminders like: "universal opener", "screen & reward", "deep dive".
* On the plus side I noticed that I used to tell myself: "Now we already walked past. The chance is gone. It will be strange if we return." This time I saw it like this: "Ah it's good that we walked past. They had a chance to look at us and my attainability will start of better if they realize that we made the effort to come back."
