i have alwyays been curious as to what such a persons motivation might be?
i sometimes post something on facebook/youtube and have a total absolute stranger come and reply something like
"gay","lame"
what is the deal with such people?

These types of people are trying to get a reaction out of you. Franco once told me that if he is getting your attention, then it fulfills some of his natural urges to post and get any kind of feedback.
