Day-game is often somewhat unglamorous in practice. One thing you quickly realize doing this stuff is that genuinely hot girls, if not exceedingly rare, are not exceedingly common, either. Today, I was at a large mall in the Greater Toronto area during peak hours and had a hard time discerning many among the gangs of young ethnic males, families, etc.
Nothing was happening, but given it was a Saturday and boxing week sales were still on, I figured I would be liable to eventually get a hit. Lo and behold, I am at the mall's main watering hole when I see a cute Asian girl. The girl is obviously hot, straight hair, shoulder bag, a pert little ass, and knee-high boots, but also enough of a butter face that it seemed like she might be the type to go for a macho dick trying his luck.
I "get after that ass" (terminology from the old forum, I'm told). The girl was with a friend. While I used to demure from approaching 2-sets, given the scarcity of genuinely hot girls lately I've started doing them (it's maybe slightly less optimal, but you can still pull).
I tell the friend I'm going to "borrow her friend" and then look the hottie dead in the eye while uttering a direct line about spontaneously noticing her look and wanting to see what the deal was with her. I get her name, but she quickly tells me she has a boyfriend. While some guys advise continuing to push, my instinct when a girl says this is usually to eject, which I do here. I wish the girl and her friend a happy new year and end the interaction amiably.
So yeah, while I like recounting self-aggrandizing pick-up stories as much as the next guy I will regrettably not be loving this young hot Asian girl long time. Still, I think there is value in writing about one's dating endeavours honestly. Usually reflecting on a misfire set you can find some flaw you brought to the approach (e.g. today my fashion was a bit off). Also, approaching random girls is an inherently stochastic process.
