Boy You Lying

Happy New Year gentlemen!

Quick query, I've run into women who consistently during conversation will say things like

"boy you lying lol"
"how you so lie"
"why you lying lol"

I'm thinking this is some kind of flirting especially if she is laughing while saying I'm lying. But I was not sure. Even when I've told 100% the truth, some girls just get this feeling that I'm lying and in the past my response was to just laugh it off.

I'm wondering if this is some kind of shit test. Because at first it may be cute. But as I get to know a woman, say after 2 weeks of consistently having conversation, if she keeps doing it, it starts to get annoying. And I'm not saying she does this with every factual information I share. Things I've noticed that make women say this to me.

- I don't own a car and some girl ask me if I can drive. When I tell them "yes I can drive" they say I'm lying
- They ask me what I'm doing for the weekend and I tell them "going to spend time with friends" and they say I'm lying (usually happens with women who have not seen me with friends around before)
- They ask me if I've ever had a girlfriend and I tell them "yes" and they say I'm lying

So I'm not sure how to respond to women saying I'm lying whether they are laughing at the same time or not. Any advice?

Hey man I'm new but ive dealt with such situations too. It really hurts when girls say things like ur lying u had a girlfriend, or ur lying u have friends. No matter what females say, you need to have such a rock solid self-confidence that you cannot let women phase you. If Women can affect you emotionally, your reacting to them and therefore your not really confident because your confidence is external.

Things to note is every joke has an element of truth. Jokes are meant to be both funny and relatable. Therefore if she laughs and says ur lying for example u said u have had a girlfriend, its true that she thinks that way, but its only her PERCEIVING u as that. Or its a shit test. Regardless you can easily change the way she perceives u by being humorous, sarcastic, and funny. It shows that u don't take her words seriously like many other men would do, and your confident enough in your own frame. She's going to get more attracted.

Also if u have had insecurities about loneliness or friends or dating etc, its an internal inner game thing. During school i was bullied by a guy so i built up on insecurities like fear of being seen without people or being seen alone or thinking i dont deserve women. These caused me insecurities and women used to say things like no way uve dated etc, in the past i used to think its true and that ill never date. But this is emotional baggage and its all in ur head king :)

Lastly, the frame is very important. You need to hold your frame. How solid is your frame= How genuinely confident you are. When ur talking to women ur frame must be of vulnerability. Don't hold back, dont try to impress or flex on girls, and hide your flaws. Expose urself, and the frame should be, this is me, i don't care what you think of me, im 100% honest & true to myself. (If there's something girls DIG, it's confidence.)

Noted!

I agree!

Noted and I'm glad that 9/10 times my response has been to laugh when women say I'm lying. At least I have confirmation now that I am on the right path with this.

Noted and thanks!

I'm guessing these are black women😹

Yeah it's mostly black women. I think I'd need to expand my dating options to more white, indian, asian, e.t.c. women to see if this is the same or not with other races.

Yeah, sometimes it's flirtatious

That's a ++

But most times it's a shit test OR there's something incongruent between the words coming out your mouth and your vibe/game

I read the post earlier today and thought about this line carefully and I can see your point. A few examples came to mind:

  • A well known pastor is speaking to group of men at the bar and he starts telling them a story about how last night he went to the strip club and threw a couple hundreds at the girls (incongruent)
  • A guy in his 20's who dresses like a street thug and walks like a gangster tells women he likes to read 4-8 educational books per month (is it possible? Yes! But very much incongruent to what most people categorize this guy as from the get go)
  • A group of non religious young women who wears baggy dresses that touches their ankles to the night club. Who then show up and refuse to drink or engage in anything club social. (Incongruent because they seem more like ladies who would go to a chill lounge and have a better time than the club).
I hope I interpreted what you said correctly and my takeaway from that advice is I'll work more on my vibe/game to ensure it is congruent with what I tell women.
