I seem to always lose way too many girls over text.

Of course I can't be sure it's just text, but it's the first element I'm considering.

The other day I met a girl in front of a restaurant, her dad came out and she -literally- pushed him back in the restaurant to keep the convo with me.
It's hard not to see at least some attraction in that dynamic.

And still no date (see below this specific convo).

Could you please post a successful text conversation that eventually led to a date?

Me:
Hey xxx, nice meeting your earlier. GEt the carbonara if you're into pasta :)
my name

Her:
Nice to meet you too :)
I think I'll get Pizza this time but I'll think of it next time I'll stay here (sic)

Me:
(one day after, switching to Wassup)
A good pizza is always a good decision :)
How does your schedule look this week

...

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

Lucifer,

You can't just send an icebreaker text then go straight to asking for a date.

Send a few texts back and forth then ask. Don't say too much but say enough to remind her of who you are.

The most recent text message date I've got is from this FR. But here it is:

Me: 4:05 P.M. "Senona, it's Richard. Save my number ;)"
Her: 4:13 P.M. "Definitely will. It was nice meeting you today."
Me: 4:37 P.M. "I'll bet it was ;) Your little sister is something else."
Her: 4:46 P.M. "Adella is well... Adella lol. For being my little sister she's pretty protective of me."
Me: 5:04 P.M. "Something tells me she was trying to stop me from getting a date out of you. Speaking of which when's your schedule open to grab that ice cream?"
Her: 5:17 P.M. "Ummm tomorrow is fine if you're free but yeah she's skeptical about guys in general... you managed though :p"
Me: 5:53 P.M. "Tomorrow is good for me after 8, I'll see you and Adella then."
Her: 6 P.M. "Yup, cya tomorrow ;)"

Just like that - I text to remind her of the conversation, loop it back around to the date, and finish it there.

Thanks guys!

I was following this site's suggestion but I only seem to be getting less results and it's getting quite frustrating, I guess I'm missing something..
Didn't a few articles, both from Chase and Ricardus, point on using the phone only as a logistics tool, going straight to the meet?
I'm not going to link them, but as far as I remember that conversation from above seem to follow their suggestions to a T?

Loved how you weaved it in Zphyx, any other links/examples I can check?

And by the way, this was all in one day? Do you usually follow up with texts till asking for the date on the same day?

It's not always the same day - I usually send the icebreaker text a few hours after meeting a girl, unless it's a night, in which case I do it in the morning.

Thanks guys!

When it comes to texting logistics I learned most of what I do from Franco's input on several examples I had when I was starting out.

I tend to treat texting just a little bit more delicately also because my style is super direct which can come off quite bad through text so I like to keep it simple - remind her of who I am, and loop things back around to a date.

Remember, if something doesn't work for you then don't use it. If the texting that Chase and Ricardus offer doesn't work for you - play around with it until you find something suitable.
