It seems this question is very popular.
"Can Men and Women be Friends"? The thing is that most people ask this question from themselves, that "self factor". Not saying it is a bad thing but if we want to know the real essence of truth, this question is like a question of football "positional sense". You don't play a right back as a Center forward and you don't play a winger as a Centerback.
Most people ask this from a paradigm that they want to be friends, but also they do not want to be friends due to sexual desire, which we all have.
The Objective is already set here (sexual desire), Sex. "Sex" is the objective. The frame of mind or the "style" that is accepted among the masses is that friends usually hangout together. Now, we have a foundation and an objective that doesn't match. Foundation is "Friends hanging out together", and objective is "Sex". It's like building a house on an unfamiliar setting, which also reasons why best friends rarely survives relationships if they get into one. (and i personally have that before)
So can Men and Women be Friends? Definitely, We just don't hang around each other too often.
