Hey Gents,
I woke up this morning, the day I marked on my calendar to give an estimated count of girls chase reaching 900 articles. We are I think 4 or 5 away from 900 now, on my count. The reason why I know is because I made a pledge to myself to see how much I could improve before this site reached 1000.
When I see new articles on the site regularly, it motivates me to compete with how much I can improve before the next article pops up. Everyday I think, if I love competing with how fast articles come out then I should do it damn good.
I imagine that most of you forum users keep a track on the site every three days at least. The thing is, how much are you improving in comparison to your guide, your mentor, Girls Chase?
All Good (& bad) Things Do Come to an End
One other thing that motivates me to do my best and quickly improve is knowing for a fact that bad things don't last forever. Don't have a girlfriend? Never had one before? Are you still a Virgin at xyz age that you think is unmanly for a guy?
Well it's important to know that it won't happen forever, if you are taking decisive action. The maths equation I made up is:
Quality + Quantity (by time) = Success
Also, what is even more important to know is that if seeing new articles motivates you, remember that one day will come when no more articles will be published. Sure, girls chase might be able to manufacture 15 to 20 articles a month for some time. But in all honesty, so you think that is possible 50 years from now? All the writers have now reached retirement age and still blowing out this amount of articles per month?
Now anyone reading this, I'm not saying or wishing that GC come to a hault. I love this website and I'd love to see it around for a very long time to come. Remember how Chase always answered every comment on his articles? He now has Just Dave doing that work and he's doing a really good job too. Way before Chase put Dave in charge of the comments I could tell this was coming. Maybe it was subliminal. Now it's reality. Don't wait around before its too late. Even though I'm far from where I want to be, I ensure that as fast as an article comes up on the site, I am doing something to improve myself as well.
How Much Can You Improve Before 100 Articles
Come Out?
Starting today, I set one goal for myself. That is to develop better social calibration https://www.girlschase.com/content/learn ... alibration I'll be using the 100 Hour Rule https://www.girlschase.com/content/100-hour-rule. For the past three weeks, I had a summer job in a pharmacy doing dusting, extensive cleaning working in the over the counter drugs section. I spent the first three days doing heavy cleaning then after that, maintainance cleaning. The best part about my job was that even though I got 90% of the work doing while all the other workers relaxed was that I got to talk with all the customers. I helped them find what they were looking for, and we engaged in small talk. It's a busy pharmacy which means that I spent from 9 to 5 talking. I socialized with:
Young Children
Teens
Young Adults
The Elderly
Bus Drivers
Poor People
Rich People
Jocks, nerds, preps e.t.c.
White, Black, and every color people
Persons of diverse cultures and religious backgrounds
And of course, lots of cute girls
I enjoyed it. Now I'm continuing doing this until I get comfortable talking to people. I think it was a better job instead of per se working at a club, in terms of where I am socially now. It was a low profile environment that also got me socializing just as if I was in a club.
Anyway, to get back on track, it would be great to celebrate GC upcoming 1000 articles by breaking a record and having everyone who has joined the boards come online that day and share how much they have improved in the time span of 100 articles. I don't know if Chase or anyone has any surprises/ giveaways for our 1000 article celebration but it would be a great memory if it did.
Any thoughts, questions, comments?
It would be cool if we celebrated 1000 articles by everyone coming on the site at the same time and posting how much they have improved in a 100 article time span!!
