Cheating Forgivable?

Recently I've been overcoming some anxiety in life and I've been pondering about the concept of cheating, why people do it, etc.


I firmly believe it's unforgivable, but my girlfriend recently shocked me when she mentioned that she'd forgive me in some cases if it ever happened. So I was wondering what you guys think about that. Are there any instances, no matter how unlikely, that it's forgivable?

Sure you can forgive but don't expect loyalty after that.

Girls can forgive you but they shouldn't expect loyalty after that, it works both ways.

To a guy something sexual is more unforgivable and to a girl emotional is more unforgivable. So a girl might be more forgiving if you got drunk in a party and got a bj from a random girl (or a hooker) then kissing your co-worker with whom you're good friends.

That said, you should be careful. Does she say this because (i) she wants to show you how much she loves you, (ii) a test (i.e. what will be his reaction) or (iii) she did something "stupid" and she wants to sooth her conscious.

So, I believe in every relationship, unless you live in a village or at a farm, your girl will see (and meet) guys she would fuck and date under the right circumstances.
