Hi, I’m an older guy (early 40s) new to the forum and seduction, but I want to improve.

I was shopping in a small organic market in my neighborhood and got good vibes from the cute girl at the cash register when I walked in.

I flirted a bit with her when I checked out. She gave me the receipt with a big smile and our hands lightly brushed.

There were people behind me in line and I wasn’t quick enough to think of asking for her number. I live in a foreign country where my command of the local language is good, but I’m not always able to express myself as spontaneously as I would like.

I’d like to try again but I think it would need to be discreet.

Any advice on strategies that may work here?

Yeah, it's a little tough when there's a line.

If she works there, and it's somewhere you frequent, best is if you can just switch up the time you visit so you get there times when it's dead, and try to get her all to yourself. Then you have a little more time for a slightly more drawn-out flirtation, and can ask her to grab a bite or a drink and take her contact info.

If she likes you, it doesn't have to be perfect.

You mostly just need to ask. Getting the wording/timing totally perfect will not make a huge difference.

She mostly either likes you, and would like to give you her contact info, or she's just being friendly and doing her job, in which case she'll decline.

Find a way to ask, and you'll get your answer.
