As Lionel Messi of FC Barcelona picks up his successive fourth FIFA Ballon D'or for Best Player of a Calendar Year 2012. Before you jump on me, i would hope you hear me out on this debatable topic.

I can't help but to write down a common pattern among those who have achieve success beyond levels. It's funny that most of the successful people tend to appear the "least amount of effort" in projecting their craft or creativity.

So much, before i elaborate on Lionel Messi, i shall note names who appear "Law of Least Effort".

Singer - Justin Bieber (He's talented but his performance are ppl drawn to him, enjoying himself rather than his talent, which is good also)
Basketball - Michael Jordan
Soccer - Lionel Messi
Dance - Michael Jackson/ Taeyang of Kpop Group BIGBANG (this might be bias but he's flawless and enjoyable when he is dancing.)
Philantrophist - Mother Teresa

Now i will cut this short, and put on the traits Lionel Messi has, that basically, practically also has Chase fundamentals and skills elaboration.

Investing - If you an avid soccer fan, you would know that the team is build around your best players. and by building around Messi, He doesn't do much of the hard work in building the team play. He uses more of his brain rather than stamina, running around the pitch. People often feel Cristiano Ronaldo hardwork and being more complete is better than him. Ronaldo is more to hardwork, and although he has work smart the past season. But guess people don't recognise, when you not appearing "Law of Least Effort".

Efficiency & Effectiveness - As skillful as this guy really is, and have the world applauding him, He seldom showboats his skills and techniques. He master his dribbles and passes in a manner that's efficient and has goals coming in for the team. Hence, Effectiveness.

Dialing down the Volume/Being Relatable/No promises - In many interviews, he gaves that the team winning is more important than his personal achievements and he thanks his team-mates, and do his best for the team.

Law of Least Effort - He never really does much aside from passing and occasional tracking back, but you know he's the best when he starts dribbling and scoring goals and creating assist for his team-mates.

Strong, Silent type - He's quiet by nature, and showcase by actions on the field, results, rather than words.

I would say almost much, of the successful people and those who achieved success beyond levels, tend to have a vast majority of this pattern, whether they conscious of it or not.

Just something here, :)
